  Yes, a hard hit to the head may lead to a concussion or other injuries. If it leads to concussion depends on how forceful the impact is. I recommend that you avoid this

  A hard hit may definitely lead to a concussion, but not necessarily. I had an accident when I was 15. A heavy wooden window fell from the second floor of a building on my head. There was a lot of blood, I was a bit dizzy, had 3 stitches (only 3!!!), and was in shock, but no concussion.
