Question: How big is the brain? and how much does it weigh?

The human brain weighs about 1.5kg in the average adult. In terms of size, you could hold a brain in both hands. In the natural state, the brain is a bit squidgy. A bit like thick custard. Most of the specimen that one might see in a museum are specially treated though so that they are more solid.
