      Lots of scientists all over the world are working on different parts of Alzheimer’s disease to try and find a treatment.

      New drugs are being trailed all the time and in the last two years it looks like some drugs might work to slow down the disease in some people. This is very exciting as it’s the closest dementia research has come to finding something that works.

      My research will help us understand why people develop Alzheimer’s disease and could lead to new treatments
