Yes, but adults’ brains do too. The connections between our brain cells (neurons) are constantly changing, adjusting, encoding what we are doing, learning, what we experienced. But there are suggestions that children’s brains do this even more than adult brains, which is why childhood may be the best time to learn certain skills (like speaking a foreign language).
