      Hi Wolfy
No I’ve never done any research on animal brains. I do read about research on other animals, such as rats and mice, to help me to understand what is happening in the human brain with Alzheimer’s.

Older cats can get a condition similar to Alzheimer’s disease but cats are very rarely used in any form or research. When I was looking into this I did find a group of scientists in Japan who have said that domestic cats with this condition could be useful for Alzheimer’s research. That’s something I didn’t know, so great question!
